Happy Thanksgiving (a day early!)

I have been MIA, I know I know... story of my blog.  But this time for good reason.  I have had some health issues lately.  Nothing serious, just having gallbladder surgery on Tuesday to get it removed.  It isn't serious, right now.  But if I do let it go, it could get worse.  And I don't want to have it rupture on me.

Anyway, this isn't a boo hoo, poor me post.  I promise!

Thanksgiving is here!  Yay!  But where did 2014 go????

This year, I am thankful for living in a warmer climate!  Yup I said it, I don't like cold.  I like warm weather, sand between my toes and wearing a light jacket once a year.  I am also thankful for my family.  My kids are awesome people, well turning into them.  Don't get me wrong, they have their moments, but it is pretty cool to watch them experience the world around them.  I am also thankful for my hubby and many others who selflessly give their lives to the armed forces.  They protect our freedoms, and fight for our country.  I hope that those that aren't able to be home for the holidays know that many of us at home at praying and thinking about them and a safe return for all of our troops.  I am also thankful to be in relative good health.

I love Thanksgiving because I love to eat.  Yup, I said it...  I love to eat!  I also love the traditions my family has.  We wake up, eat some breakfast and park our buns for a few hours in front of the tv watching the Macy's Parade!  My hubby doesn't understand our obsession with it.  But whatever... I never asked him to understand it.

Anyway, we also then ate dinner early, and enjoy time with family.  Nothing exciting.  We aren't Black Friday shoppers either... or should I say Thanksgiving evening shoppers.

It is insane to me how many stores advertise their "Black Friday" sales starting on Thanksgiving!  Seriously, I feel badly for all the retails workers that have to work on Thanksgiving.  They are being taken from their time with family to work for a sale that I'm sure if no fun.

Today's product:
Satin Hands Pampering Set (Peach or Fragrance Free)

The peach set has a slight peach scent and the Fragrance Free is just that, fragrance free.  Both sets include the Hand Softener, the Hand Smootie and the Hand Cream.

Use: Step 1, smooth the Hand Softener all over the hands (also great on the feet).  It is extremely moisturizing.  It helps maintain the natural moisture of the skin and replenishes hydration in dry areas.  Step 2 cleanses and exfoilates in one step.  Rub into your hands with lots of water.  And step 3, smooth over dry hands.  It provides up 24 hours of moisturization.  It absorbs quickly and provides a protective layer on your hands that lasts through several hand washings.

12 Days of Christmas - Day 9

Today's product:

*A personal favorite* Microdermabrasion Set!  This set is so wonderful.  It has completely changed my skin, for the better, of course.

This set has been a top seller since it launched.  It is a two-part system.  It goes to work immediately to fight fine lines, make pores look smaller and revitalize skin so it looks noticeably softer and smoother.  The first step is the same crystals that are used by a dermotologist.  It feeds and nourishes the skin from below, which brings oxygen to the surface of the skin and stimulates circulation.  This is where you'll get your glow, ladies!

TimeWise Moisture Renewing Gel Mask  Now, this is a product I don't use, because I am an oily person... well I have oily skin.  It is best for Normal to Dry skin types.  So all the claims that I have on this one, are from the company.

This mask was formulated with scientifically studied ingredients that help qunch your skin's thirst in addition to other skin-loving benefits.  Signs of stress disappear, as skin feels calmed, purified and nourished.

This mask instantly hydrates, while also locking in moisture.  It helps skin feel firmer, healthier, smoother and softer.  It also helps reduce the appearance of pores as well as fine lines and wrinkles. 

How to use: apply a thick, even layer to cleansed skin.  Leave on for 5-10 minutes, and remove with a warm, wet washcloth.  Gentle enough to use 2-3 times per week.

Today's product: Lash Primer

Okay, so I use this product, but not regularly.  So we both are going to learn something today! 

This product gives your mascara a little boost to deliver the look of longer, more voluminous lashes.  It instantly intensifies lash volume and creates longer-looking lashes.  It also strengthens and helps condition lashes and lifts your lashes and helps them stay curled longer.

It is a clear formula, and the company has promoted this as a clear mascara for that "natural" look.

Today's product is one of our newer products, and a personal favorite of mine, the Lash & Brow Building Serum.  This product is AMAZING.  It rebuilds and thickens your lashes, and brows.  (I haven't tried it on my brows, but my lashes look amazing now, because of this product.)

Okay, company material on this product:
This product helps lashes look fuller, and thicker and have more volume.  Just use it once a day for 30 days & you'll see the results that women everywhere are talking about!

So, an independent study done with this product said that 7 out of 10 women said their lashes look fuller.  80% also said that it helped reduce lash loss during makeup removal (don't forget about our Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover).  77% said it reduced las hbrittleness and breakage.  76% said the look of thin, sparse lashes was improved and 65% said the look of thin, sparse brows was improved.

I have used this product and LOVE it.  What you do is make sure to use your Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover and remove all your eye makeup, at night.  If you wear contacts, you need to take them out before using this product.  Then unscrew the top, and brush the gel on your lash line (where your lashes meet the skin).  Leave it there all night to do it's magic and in 30 days, viola!  Gorgeous lashes!  For brows, just brush on the gel on sparse or bare areas in the direction of hair growth.
